President of MasterCraft to attend Sydney boat show

Coinciding with the worldwide boat show release of the new X46, President and Chief Executive Officer of MasterCraft in the US, Terry McNew will attend the boat show.
Mr McNew was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of MasterCraft Boat Company in August, 2012. He comes to MasterCraft with a wealth of leadership experience not only in the marine industry, but specifically within performance water sports segment, having spent 24 years in the business with executive roles at both Brunswick and Correct Craft.
'I’m really looking forward to visiting the Sydney Boat Show and our Australian dealers,' he told MarineBusiness-World.com.au.
'The Australian market is very key for MasterCraft and our distribution has done an outstanding job increasing our market share over the past six years – just last model year alone our sales were up over 20 percent.
'We’re going to have three of our top models at the show including our new X46. This model replaces our very successful and long running X45. Our new X46 just launched July 1st and already our dealers are reporting to us that it’s being extremely well received in the market place.
'It’s a beautiful boat that seats up to 15 people and is great for surfing and wakeboarding, as well as, a comfortable day on the water cruising with the entire family.
'Also debuting at the Sydney show will be our very successful surf boat, the X10. It was launched during model year 2013 and it’s getting rave reviews for its surf wakes. It’s a traditional bow v-hull with the great styling MasterCraft is known for. 'Both the X10 and X46 come with our patented surf tabs as part of our Surf Package.
MasterCraft was the first in the industry to introduce a surf enhancing device back in 2009 and we continue to make improvements to wake shaping through the combination of superior hull designs accentuated with our surf tabs.'
