European Springtime Yngling Championships set for May start + Video
Wed, 24 Apr 2013

The European Springtime Yngling Championships get underway at Fraglia Vela Riva, Riva del Garda from the first - 4th May. Around thirty boats have already pre-registered coming primarily from The Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Austria.

It will be interesting to see if the championships will be once again dominated by the Dutch crew led by skipper Jamin Maarten with crew members Smolder Jaap and Berens Menno.

There is also a special classification for the under 23's who will compete for the 'Experience Cup'.

The regattas at Riva del Garda will be 'spiced up' with enjoyable evenings, good food and lots of entertainment. A perfect mix to combine the love for sailing with a holiday on Lake Garda, Trentino. The wind will play its part on the water as will the technical staff of Fraglia Vela Riva who, as always, will give 100% to ensure that the regatta is a great success.

The first race is scheduled for Wednesday, 1st May at 13.00hr.
